Rawamangun Velodrome Construction Completed

Rawamangung Velodrome is now ready for Asian Games cycling competition. It is announced after velodrome construction project is 100 percent completed.

It is completed within 23 months

PT. Jakpro's Jakarta International Velodrome Project Director, Iwan Takwin ensures Rawamangun Velodrome construction is completely done.

"Rawamangun Velodrome construction is completed and we also have International Cycling Union (UCI) certification since June," he informed, Tuesday (7/25).

City Expected to Form Velodrome Management Structure

Based on the result of velodrome certification test which is conducted by UCI representative, Erik Weispfennig, he mentioned in its official letter that Rawamangun Velodrome has passed for category 1.

"We have no obstacle while building it. It is completed within 23 months which is faster than our target of 24 months," he said.

Budget to build this international standard facilities reaches around Rp 665 billion.

"Besides, this velodrome already run a test event a nd it is also used every day by National Team for cycling," he stated.
